Hi, I'm Tim, Director of Marketing Doctor. I spent many years as a freelance marketing consultant and formed Marketing Doctor in October 2020.
I have worked in marketing roles from assistant to director level since 2001 in the arts, events, publishing, travel and leisure sectors. In 2009 I was awarded a Professional Diploma in Marketing by the Chartered Institute of Marketing along with the designation ACIM (Associate of the Chartered Institute of Marketing).
Marketing has been in my blood since childhood. I was always creating businesses and got a particular kick out of promotion and seeing customers walk through the door as a result of my efforts. Search engine optimisation, website design and digital marketing are particular interests of mine and I still get a kick out of generating customer enquiries and making the relationship between customer and company as close as it can be.
I own two other businesses and continue to be involved with those to this day. As a result, I have a well-rounded understanding of all areas of business (sales, marketing, operations, accounting, HR and H&S) and possess the kind of drive, commitment and tenacity one expects in someone who started their own companies. As a result, I particularly enjoy the business owner support part of our offering in which I assume a sort of non-executive director role. Running a business can be lonely and challenging and having someone to talk things over with can be valuable.
In over 20 years of marketing I have built up a small network of trusted marketing consultants, designers, website and app developers who work alongside me on our various projects. Depending on the size and scope of our remit I will probably be your only point of contact and take pride in giving a personalised, dedicated and beyond the 9-5 service.
