A weekly or monthly blog can be a bit of a pain and provide something which gets put off but they are very useful these days. Firstly, content is king when it comes to optimising your website for search engine traffic. A well written blog can add substance to your website and give it a sense of authority. The content must be good quality - it cannot be stuffed with keywords and sentences which don't make sense like the good old days of SEO (10 plus years ago!). 

Secondly, the more blog posts you have on a wide range of subjects connected to your business, the more hooks you have to bring in potential customers via search engines. Cast your blog net wide and inquisitive fish will come to bite! Think about the many rabbit holes you have disappeared down when searching the internet. Welcome to our new website and blog! After many years working as a freelance marketer for various companies I decided it was time to formalise my offering with a website. You can read more about me here but, in brief, I have considerable marketing and sales experience across the travel, arts, events, leisure and publishing sectors and have a particular passion for small businesses and their successes.
